The Legends of Krystarum
Every great fantasy world has things that become legends. These are the creatures, gods, villains, places, relics, and symbols that define Krystarum.

Racktharvys
Tyrant Boss

Dagarshalia
Undead Monster

Wikarstylogorzax,
the Trickster
Wikarstylogorzax was not always a villain of deception and ruin. Long ago, he was an obsessive seeker of forbidden knowledge who believed every mystery in Krystarum existed to be solved, no matter how ancient, sacred, or dangerous the truth might be. His journey eventually led him beneath the oldest ruins on the world of Krystarum, where he discovered a truth.
Beneath the world exists an ancient force capable of rewriting the laws that govern existence, turning truth into falsehood, history into myth, and even the gods themselves into something that never was. The ancient civilizations that discovered this power did not destroy it, they imprisoned it, then erased every record of its existence. Wikarstylogorzax found those records. He read them. And instead of being horrified, he smiled.
Now the Trickster wanders the world with his magical cards, manipulating kings, heroes, monsters, and gods like pieces in an elaborate game, searching for the final key that will allow him to break the ancient seal. He does not seek wealth, conquest, or simple destruction. He wants something far more terrifying: the freedom to decide what is real and rewrite reality itself. What would that new reality look like?
What happens if the adventurers meet Wikarstylogorzax?
Every great campaign needs an enemy worthy of becoming a legend.
Sharo Auminar,
Aumin God of Light
Sharo was born to Amorphys Ceryador, destined from his earliest days to walk among the powers of creation. In the beginning, Sharo was a being of pure goodness and radiant light, but an evil god named Rhedrican sought to corrupt Sharo, enticing him with the promise of greater strength through Dark Source power. Seduced by the allure of forbidden power, Sharo abandoned the light and embraced darkness.
Everything changed when Sharo encountered Tony, a Triad God who possessed the power of the Light Source. Recognizing that Sharo was not beyond redemption, Tony reached through the darkness and used his Light Source power to free him from its grasp. Sharo reclaimed his former glory and devoted himself once again to goodness, creation, love, and light.
Having experienced both the radiance of the Light Source and the corruption of Dark Source power, Sharo came to understand the profound importance of choosing goodness when darkness offers an easier path. He organized the Order of Aumin, an organization devoted to doing good throughout the cosmos and spreading knowledge, love, compassion, and light through its members.
To those who encounter him, Sharo represents the triumph of redemption. He is living proof that darkness does not have to define one's destiny and that even a fallen god can return to the light. He teaches that the greatest journey is not merely the pursuit of power, but the pursuit of the Path of Joy, the sacred journey toward goodness, enlightenment, and ultimately godhood as a God of Aumin.
Sharo has now attained the status of an Aumin God, the highest attainable form of deification. His divine essence resonates with the cosmos itself, possessing Divine Cosmic Resonance and wielding 100% Light Source power. Around him exists a vast Glory Aura composed of radiant light, celestial fire, and the overwhelming energy of divine love.

Sunlit Canopies of Solanthyr
Where the ancient forests of Solanthyr rise toward the heavens on the continent of Sheamodax, sunlight pours through endless layers of emerald leaves, bathing colossal trees, crystalline waterfalls, and suspended gardens in rivers of golden light. Entire settlements cling to branches wider than castles, connected by living bridges that grow beneath the feet of those who walk them.
Birds with iridescent wings soar between floating blossoms, luminous rivers wind through the roots below, and forgotten ruins emerge from the greenery like the bones of a civilization swallowed by the forest. Yet the Canopies are more than beautiful, they are alive. The oldest trees whisper in languages no mortal scholar remembers, their roots reaching into places untouched since the first ages of Krystarum. Adventurers come seeking rare treasures, lost knowledge, and the breathtaking beauty of Solanthyr, but many discover that the forest has been watching them long before they ever arrive.
At the edge of Solanthyr, where the sunlit forest abruptly gives way to a vast expanse of ancient stone, something waits beneath the ground. Long before the current kingdoms rose, something was buried there, not imprisoned by accident, but sealed away by beings who feared what would happen if it ever awakened.
Recently, the oldest trees have begun growing toward the buried ruins, their roots twisting through stone that should be impenetrable. Animals are fleeing the region. Ancient symbols have appeared upon the trunks. And at night, a faint golden pulse can be seen beneath the ground, as though something enormous is breathing in its sleep. Whatever lies beneath the Canopies is beginning to stir, and the people of Solanthyr must decide whether to uncover the ancient truth, or ensure it remains forgotten forever.
Korlynax Oracle
Forged before the Rise of Racktharvys, when the boundaries between gods, worlds, and mortal thought were still unfinished, the Korlynax Oracle is said to contain a question that reality itself cannot answer. Its violet surface glows with a light that has no source, while ancient golden symbols shift across its facets whenever someone approaches with a destiny powerful enough to alter Krystarum.
Legends claim the Oracle does not reveal the future, it reveals the future that is trying to happen, showing visions of forgotten kingdoms, unborn gods, impossible wars, and choices that have not yet been made. Those who have witnessed its visions rarely agree on what they saw, but every account contains one recurring detail: somewhere within the vision, the Korlynax Oracle was watching them back.
No one knows who forged the Oracle, or whether its creator was mortal, divine, or something that existed before either. Some say entire civilizations have vanished while trying to decipher its golden script; others whisper that the Oracle has deliberately sent heroes on impossible quests simply to bring it closer to places it wishes to see.
The most dangerous legend claims that the Korlynax Oracle is not an artifact at all, but a fragment of an ancient intelligence that dreams through time, and that every prophecy it grants is another piece of itself awakening. If that legend is true, then the greatest question surrounding the Korlynax Oracle is not what will it reveal, but what will it become when it finally remembers why it was forged?

Eternal
Rune of Aumin
The Eternal Rune of Aumin is the oldest symbol of ascension, eternity, and divine possibility known to existence. It was born from the moment Aumin, the first being ever to ascend to Aumin Godhood, transcended mortality and created the eternal Auminar Heaven beyond the boundaries of any single world, universe, or reality.
Its three great arcs represent the infinite ascent of existence, mortal, divine, and eternal, while the radiant center represents the spark of potential hidden within every living being. The surrounding celestial rings signify the countless worlds, dimensions, timelines, and realms of the Gods of Aumin omniverse, all connected by the eternal path that Aumin first walked. To behold the Rune is to be reminded that godhood is not merely power, it is the possibility of becoming something that existence itself can never forget.
To those who seek the Path of Ascension, the Eternal Rune is both promise and challenge. It declares that no mortal destiny is necessarily final, that legends can become divine beings, and that those who possess the will, power, Faith, and Reknown to transcend their limitations may one day rise beyond mortality and claim a place among the gods.
Yet even godhood is not the end. Beyond worlds lie universes; beyond universes lie realities; beyond realities stretches an omniverse without known boundary, and beyond all of them shines Auminar Heaven, the eternal realm created by Aumin for those who achieve the ultimate heights of divine existence. The Eternal Rune therefore carries a single, awe inspiring truth: the greatest adventure is not discovering how far you can go, but discovering how far you can ascend.
What will you choose and how far will you ascend as a god?
Adventures Waiting to Happen
Krystarum is a world built for legends. Across its continents and oceans, ancient powers lie dormant, forgotten civilizations conceal impossible secrets, and forces far greater than mortals move quietly beneath the surface of existence. The following adventures are designed to showcase the scale and mythology of Gods of Aumin, while giving game masters stories that can begin with mortal adventurers and potentially lead toward something far greater.

God Beneath the Xidor Sea
Krystarum Location: The Xidor Ocean, surrounding the small island of Azeon, between Zagepica, Sheamodaax, and Zecrax
For centuries, sailors have avoided the strangely calm waters surrounding Azeon. Ships that enter the Xidor Ocean sometimes return weeks later with no crew aboard, their decks covered in seaweed growths and their sails marked with an unfamiliar golden rune. Recently, however, the phenomenon has intensified. Every night, an enormous shape can be seen beneath the ocean, far too large to be a creature, yet moving with deliberate purpose beneath the waves. At the same time, people across Azeon have begun dreaming of a magnificent voice calling their names from beneath the sea.
The adventurers eventually discover that Azeon was formed above the submerged remains of an ancient deific prison. Something was sealed there eons ago, and the prison is beginning to fail. But the entity beneath the Xidor Ocean does not necessarily want freedom. It claims to be an ancient god who voluntarily imprisoned itself after discovering a terrifying truth about the nature of godhood, and it believes that modern gods have forgotten the same truth. The characters must decide whether to destroy the prison, release the forgotten deity, or uncover the knowledge it possesses. Their choice could permanently alter their Faith, Reknown, Resonance, and eventual Path of Ascension.
The Twist: The imprisoned being reveals that it knows of a path toward deific existence that predates the god Draedonix, and that someone, somewhere in Krystarum, is already attempting to walk it.

Septragram Star of Pharom
Krystarum Location: The Pharom Ocean, where Kreimera, VaeZestrix, Zecrax, and Icith converge
A strange phenomenon appears above the Pharom Ocean: seven enormous rings of colored light rise from the sea and form a Septagram star in the sky. The phenomenon lasts only seven minutes each night, but during those seven minutes, tall glowing crystals emerge from beneath the ocean's surface. Each night, a different crystal appears.
The adventurers soon learn that these are not ordinary crystals. They are fragments of an ancient magical device that existed before the Pharom Ocean came into existence. Each submerged crystal contains a hidden room inside with a trial designed to test a different aspect of ascension: Power, Knowledge, Courage, Will, Faith, Sacrifice, and Destiny. Completing a trial grants the adventurers a fragment of an ancient crystalline Septagram. But the Septagram is not merely an artifact.
When assembled, it allows its bearer to perceive the invisible connections between the mortal world and the higher realms of existence. Naturally, the adventurers aren't the only ones searching for the pieces. A powerful faction from Zecrax has discovered the crystals and believes the completed Septagram can be used to forcibly steal deific power from a god. Meanwhile, something enormous is moving beneath the Pharom Ocean, following the adventurers from crystal to crystal.
The Twist: The Septagram does not grant godhood. It reveals who is capable of achieving it. When the final piece is assembled, the characters discover that one of them, or perhaps one of their greatest enemies, is destined to become something some of the gods themselves fear.

Last Light of Primoris
Krystarum Location: The eastern continent of Primoris, along its remote northern and western wildernesses
A beam of purple light has appeared above some of the realms on the continent Primoris. At night, the purple beam explodes down from the sky, sending purple magical shockwaves rippling across the realms, with people and animals scattering in terror. Ancient ruins have begun glowing beneath the ground. People who stand beneath the purple light report experiencing memories of events that happened thousands of years before they were born.
The source is an enormous ancient structure buried beneath Primoris, a monument created by a civilization that attempted to communicate with an ancient god named Anaryxosis, long before some of the races of Primoris understood the concept of ascension. The structure is now awakening, but it was never designed merely to send a message. It was designed to open a path, and something from beyond the known boundaries of Primoris has noticed the signal and is attempting to come through.
The adventurers must journey across these realms of Primoris, uncover the civilization's forgotten history, and determine whether the ancient gateway should be destroyed or completed. Along the way, they may discover that the structure responds to their own Average Power, Faith, Reknown, and Resonance, gradually recognizing them as potential ascendants. If they complete the gateway, they may glimpse the vastness beyond Primoris, and discover that their mortal world is only one small fragment of an unimaginably larger world of Krystarum.
The Twist: The ancient civilization did not build the gateway to reach Anaryxosis.
